My name is Claudia, and I am a passionate yogi and a Yoga Alliance certified Power Yoga teacher based in Copenhagen.

I was born and raised in Germany, but during a stay connected to my studies in 2008, I fell madly in love with the city of Copenhagen and decided to stay and make it my home.

My yoga journey started in 2013 when I was looking for an addition to my busy workout schedule but found more than I was ever able to imagine. Yoga and its transformative powers have helped me getting away from the urge of always having to be the fastest and fittest towards developing a healthy attitude of what my mind and body are capable of. I found that yoga is a true gift that helps me becoming the best and most true version of myself.

In the fall of 2017 I felt it was time to learn how I can share my love for yoga with others, so I completed a 200h Power Vinyasa Flow Teaching Training with my long term teacher Maj Ingenmann-Molden. Other teachers during this training that had an impact on my teachings include: Ramona Black Larsen, Anja Nielsen and Jennilee Toner.

In my classes I try to create an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and at ease. An atmosphere that makes everyone comfortable enough to feel and explore their own body, to laugh, to find balance, to experiment and, yes, to sweat.

Why hEar&now?

I grew up in a family with hearing disabilities and was diagnosed with a hearing impairment when I was a young girl. Learning how to cope with my hearing impairment has been one of the greatest journeys in my life and yoga has helped me immensely on that journey. Yoga has helped me accepting the body I was provided with, and to focus on what it can do instead of what it can't. That experience is exactly what I would like to offer to my students: Being in the moment, in the now, and being able to connect to their body in order to hear what it has to offer.
